My Workout Playlist!

So I always have people asking me what music I use in all my classes and wanting copies of their own. Since I won’t be around SD anymore I’ll be posting all my playlists here. Now you (San Diego peeps) can keep up with what I’m listening to and what we (Kentucky peeps) are working out to… (Cool down music included in the last two tracks!)

Last week’s playlist:

Break Your Heart: Ludacris
Feel It: Three 6 Mafia
Strut: Adam Lambert
Telephone: Lady Gaga and Beyonce
Party in Your Bedroom: Cash Cash
Did It Again: Shakira
Untouched: The Veronicas
We Don’t Care: Akon
Carry Out: Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake
Long Shot: Kelly Clarkson
Morning After Dark: Timbaland
Quicksand: La Roux
Monster: Lady Gaga
Outta Here: Esmee Denters
Young Money: Vita Chambers
I Will: Brandi Carlile
I Dreamed a Dream: Glee Cast, Indina Menzel and Lea Michelle

Head over to iTunes to listen to/buy any of this great music!

TRX

So if you have trained with me at all (or just know me) you know that I love the TRX. If you’re wondering what it’s all about, watch this video. It sums everything up! And I have a cameo… well, me and Drew Brees. ; )

If you’d like a TRX of your own, please click on that yellow TRX banner on the left side of my page. It will take you to their site and they’ll know I sent you! (Forgive the video not fitting, figuring this stuff out…)

Bittersweet Change

So it is official: We are leaving. My husband, Conrad (pictured here) and I are leaving San Diego and making our way east. We have found jobs in Louisville, Kentucky and will be relocating in 3 weeks! A tough decision to make but one that we think will end up being the best for us in the long run. We’ll be getting closer to some family but farther away from other family. We’ll miss the beach and the great friends we’ve made but are looking forward to re-connecting with old friends and making new ones. My friends, Jason and Jenn Burton have a quote on their website from Helen Keller that sums it up perfectly. “Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

Tango Trot

So being out of town for a week and then being sick for a few days doesn’t do much for your dog and his need of exercise… So tomorrow, since I have a short work day, we’re going to hike Daley Ranch in Escondido. It’s such a beautiful place that makes you feel like you’re far away from everything. This is our dog, Tango and his hiking gear! So incredibly cute!

Baby Steps

So this blog thing is new to me, but kind of intriguing… I’m going to give it a whirl… or a twirl. Like this chick —->
