Things That Are My Jam Right Now

YOU GUYS. This week is out of control. Here’s what I’m pumped about:

  1. Talk Derby To Me.
    It’s Derby Week, y’all. I’m getting my bets ready so I can bet from afar this year. Usually I go home to Louisville for Derby Week, but I’ve gotta work in Austin this week, so I can’t go. I’ve packed my outfit and hat though (not the one pictured, that’s my friend Sandy’s) which I’ll wear to an event cocktail party, so it’s fine.
  2. It’s also Summit Time!
    The annual TRX Summit is happening this weekend in Austin, which is why I’m headed there. 500 TRX trainers & enthusiasts from all over the world are congregating in Texas this weekend for a packed weekend of sessions and games. It’s like summer camp for TRX pros and I’m super excited to see everybody again.
  3. Cinco de Mayo! In Texas! 
    It’s crazy that all three of these events will be taking place on the same day. I’m ready though. Mexican food on the Mexican border > Mexican imitation food far away from the border.
  4. Karley!
    Hanging with my college climbing bud, Karley and her family. I haven’t seen her since my last trip to Austin and I can’t wait to meet her little girl.
  5. Austin.
    This is one of those cities I could see myself living in. It’s such a fun city and I’m READY for the warmth. I packed like 5 sets of shorts to bring with me and I’m really hoping the rain in the forecast will hold off a bit so I can work on a tan for these legs.

Thailand, Part 2: Asia Fitness Conference… In Letters

I’ve always heard great things about the Asia Fitness Conference and getting to attend and speak at this year’s conference in Bangkok was amazing! I decided to write this post in letters to those who helped make this event as great as it was!

Dear Suzanne Hosley – You put on a wicked conference! Thank you so much for inviting me to teach TRX Dance Body and for asking for lots of dance sessions. It was so incredibly fun to rock it out with the attendees and getting to mix my dance world with my fitness world. Had the time of my life and it started with you!
