Friday’s Letters… on Sunday.

Dear Blog Readers, I’m not dead… just had a non-blogging week. I’m back!

Dear Personal Training Clients, I’m glad most of you coordinated your vacay schedules with each other to all be out of town during the SAME week! I had a wonderfully mellow week just teaching a couple classes a day. I did miss you dearly, but was really pumped to lay out at the pool in the middle of the day Thursday with some buds. High five!

Dear Gigantor Turtle Float, you make pool days WAY more fun.

Dear Garage Bar, you are the BEST hangout spot in Louisville during the summer months. Seriously.

Dear Summer, I’m glad you made it around and that you’re here to stay for a while. It was awesome to be out on the river on the boat yesterday.

Dear T-beg, I’m stoked for you that you’re getting to cruise out of town for the whole summer to get your MFA on. Me, Tang, Churchill, Emmy, Cash, and Willie will hold down the fort here. And don’t worry, I’ll clean. : )

Dear Bonna, HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY! Woot! And this photo from college will always be the best photo of the 3 of us… #BFFs

Dear Dad, Happy Father’s Day from all of us!

B Party!

My cousin, Allison got married a few weeks ago
and I’m just now posting the photos from her B Party.
Better late than never, yes?

Cutest Skating Party EVER

Did you guys have skating parties when you were in elementary school?! We did and we went to almost EVERY one. Well my nephew’s school had his skating party last night and skating parties haven’t changed in the last 20 years! At least not around these parts…

We did the Hokey Pokey,
they called out door prize winners with your ticket stub numbers,
and they had RACES!

Because we got busted sneaking out on the babysitter to play kickball in the mud… together…
Because you drove 34 hours across country with me and my janky car…
Because we had some of the best food fights in history…
Because we can do crosswords puzzles like it’s nobody’s business…
You’re the best big brother I could ever ask for.

Birthday Tango

After having a birthday party (cake and pie with fam and friends) on Wednesday, going to King’s Island and riding roller coasters on Friday, and going to Splashin’ Safari (water park) today, my birthday week festivities are finally over. ‘Cause I’m tired as ish! : )
Thanks to everybody for the well wishes and my great family and friends for spending this time with me. I’m so lucky…

An Easter for the photo albums… Warning: Foul Language/Guestures

Backstory: Easter Sunday at my Brother’s in-law’s house. (Brother’s wife’s parents’ house, keep up here, it’s gonna be one of those) It’s time to leave and since we’re parked in by a bunch of cars, we need to drive around the perimeter of the yard to get over to the driveway and then to the road. It’s been raining, non-stop, every day for the past week or so here so the ground’s really wet. My sister-in-law’s brother left right before me and was told to drive a certain path. When I left, I was told to drive his tracks exactly so I wouldn’t get stuck. No problem, right? As I’m driving, carefully as to not mess up the grass, I get to listen to the hubs and his helpful hints: “don’t go too slow! don’t go too fast!” Aaaaand I’m stuck.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the entire family is watching. Great. Dad, brother, brother’s father-in-law, husband all come to help… and bail me out with the four-wheeler.
…and take photos. Of course.

Moving Day 2011

It’s always a blast when the whole fam damnly gets together. Remember Baking Party 2010?

My mom just moved into a new house last weekend so we all (the aunts/cousins/children) had to be there in order to help take care of the crap work that comes with moving into a new house; hanging drapes, installing new towel racks, decorating, etc. My two aunts and I decided to get mom a new entertainment center so we ventured to the store to let her pick one out. Then we put it together. Six of us, 5 hours. Not even kidding.
