Time for Wandering
I know I’ve complained a lot lately about not having a work permit, but trust that I’m taking advantage of the free time. In this time I’ve tried to do as many things as possible that I know I won’t have time to do when I start work again. Random driving around is one of them. I had to go into Banff the other day and instead of getting on the freeway to drive back home, I just kept driving and taking different turns. I followed signs to various destinations and ran into several I’d never seen before. I can’t wait to take visitors to these places in the future.
Fall Clothing & Accessories
I hate when summer is over, but I feel like you at least get eased into cooler weather with the beauty that is fall clothing. I like boots and fingerless gloves and pretty poncho wraps, so it’s not as bad. #gladgame
Library E-Books
My mom told me about checking out e-books from the library a year or two ago, but I’d never done it before. The library in our town here does it and I finally took a couple minutes to ask the librarian how to set it up. A bunch of books on the best-seller list aren’t in stock so I’ve put my name on the hold list for several. Whenever they’re available, they just show up on my tablet and I jump in. GENIUS.

Wylder Goods – Shopping in my mind
While being unemployed doesn’t financially lend itself to shopping because you’re bored, I think it is nice to acknowledge pretty things and great artists. Wylder Goods is my favorite new company. From planters and clothing to beautiful ceramics and earrings, everything in their shop is beautiful and they tell stories of the creators and artists on the website and their Instagram page. I love seeing all the female artists, local products, and the care they take for the environment. Check them out!
