TRX in May: New classes, additions, and locations!

I’ve been a little absent here on the blog lately, but only because I’ve got a few things in development. Here’s what’s happening now and next month:


St. Matthews TRX at VO2 Multisport

VO2 Multisport in St. Matthews is my main training space. It’s got lots of room, showers for post-workout clean up, and lots of apparel, fitness and triathlon gear, shoes, water, energy bars, and more, all to keep participants supported for performance. The morning (6am) and evening (5:45pm) bootcamps are raring to go! Heading into the warmer months we’re able to enjoy TRX workouts indoors and out! We focus on strength, endurance, balance and stability, flexibility and mobility, and lots of CORE. If you’re gearing up for race season, TRX workouts can be highly advantageous for your performance results. Don’t let the term, “Bootcamp” deter you. This is a 4 week program, designed to progress over the weeks, and is open to all fitness levels. Participants receive body composition measurements (if they wish) and pre/post tests for individualized performance tracking over their time with me. If you just want to come sporadically, you can certainly drop into these classes at your leisure, but if you’re wanting to improve your body’s health and ability level, signing up for the whole 4 week program will be your jam. Like I mentioned above, the program includes not only weekly workouts, but a weekly newsletter, recipes, goal-setting and other educational fitness tips so you learn as much as possible to be able to implement better practices on your own. There are 3 morning classes per week, two evening classes per week and 4, 8, and12 class packages are available to allow more flexibility for busy schedules. TRX Barre

Since my April TRX Barre sold out with a waiting list, I’ve decided to add an additional day for the May session – Mondays! Barre will now be offered Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:30am. If you’re looking for a mid-morning class that will challenge your entire body, build your balance and increase your strength and flexibility, this is your class. There isn’t any cardio, and it’s a bit more mellow than the bootcamp classes, but don’t mistake this class as “easy.” The session runs for 4 weeks and you can either take 4 classes ($69) or 8 classes ($119)!  Drop-ins are available, but only if there’s space so contact me to check! Downtown Lunchtime TRX

I’m really excited to announce this one! Glassworks Fitness has just opened at 815 W. Market St. and I’ll be offering a lunchtime bootcamp for everybody that wants to get after it in the middle of the day (i.e. doesn’t want to get up at 5am or isn’t able to come to class directly after work). This TRX session will be great for those that want to get their workout in during their lunch break once or twice per week, and be able to shower before heading back to the office. It runs the same as my other TRX 4 week programs, so participants receive all the same benefits: pre & post tests and measurements, a weekly newsletter, healthy recipes, etc.  Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 – 1pm.
